You don't know my name.
You don't really see me.
I'm many faces in the crowd.
Came from something.
That woman and man who made me.
They was at war.
And he almost drowned her.
Meant to be, so I survived it.
Grew up on my own terms,
Living in my own world.
Raised a husband and a family.
Yes, I said raised a husband,
Shaking my head to this.
Fast forward.
Now I'm living like this.
I keep my pride,
With the holy spirit.
No one can keep me down.
I will keep trying,
‘Til I shine.
New respect to the homeless,
Since I became one.
I'm counting my blessings.
I know one day
I'm going to come up out of this depression.
I remember where I came from.
I remember who I live for.
In the end,
You will know my name.
